Solid sofa, minor issue

I bought the wooden sofa set from Wood Gully. The quality of the wood is really good, feels sturdy and well-made. It took about 10 days to get here, which was fine. Assembly service was helpful, they got it done quickly. My only small gripe is that one of the cushions had a very tiny loose thread, nothing major, but I noticed it. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about delivery tracking beforehand. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, especially for the price during their holiday sale. It definitely upgraded my living room.

Good deal on dining table

I was looking for a new dining table and found Wood Gully during their anniversary sale. I got a solid wood dining table at 30% off, which was a pretty good discount. Shipping was free too, which saved me even more money. The table arrived in about a week. Overall, it felt like a smart purchase and good value for what I paid.

Hey, thinking of getting the dining table set. How long does shipping usually take to, say, Bangalore?

K Kate 2 months ago

It can vary a bit. When I ordered a bookshelf, it took about 2-3 weeks to get to me in Mumbai. Bangalore might be similar.

J June Silva 2 months ago

Mine was surprisingly fast, like 10 days for a bedside table, but that was just a small item. For a whole dining set, I'd probably expect closer to two weeks, maybe a bit more if it's during a big sale.

What's their return policy like? Is it a hassle if I don't like the color of the study table once it arrives?

E Emma 3 months ago

Returns were pretty straightforward for me when I exchanged a mirror frame. Just initiate it within the timeframe, and they arrange for pickup.

E Emma 3 months ago

They have a pretty decent return window, like 7 or 15 days I think. Just make sure it's in original condition. I returned a chair that didn't fit my space and it was fine, just took a few days for the refund to process.

How does Wood Gully compare to Pepperfry or Urban Ladder in terms of quality for a wooden wardrobe?

P Priya V. 2 months ago

I've bought from all three. Wood Gully's solid wood stuff feels more robust than Pepperfry's sometimes, which can be a bit hit or miss. Urban Ladder is good too, but sometimes pricier. For solid wood, Wood Gully is my pick.

J Josh Y. 2 months ago

Wood Gully focuses more on actual solid wood, whereas Pepperfry and Urban Ladder have a wider range including engineered wood, which isn't always as durable. So if you want true solid wood, Wood Gully is usually a better bet for the price.

Anyone know if they offer an EMI option for payment? Looking to buy a whole bedroom set but wanna pay in installments.

C Carly Doyle 3 months ago

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they do. I saw it as a payment option when I was checking out a few months ago for a cabinet. They usually partner with banks for those.

J James 2 months ago

They definitely have EMI. Check their payment options at checkout, they usually list which banks or payment gateways support it. Makes buying big stuff way easier.

Hey, do they assemble the furniture or do I have to do it myself? Asking about a Sheesham wood bed.

S Sarah Okafor 2 months ago

For bigger items like beds, they usually offer assembly services. It's often included or you can add it on at checkout. I didn't have to put my bed together myself.

D David Walsh 2 months ago

Yeah, they'll assemble it for you. It's super helpful, especially for something like a bed. Just confirm during the ordering process or when they call to schedule delivery.

Is the king size bed with storage actually solid wood or is it just veneer over MDF?

N Neil 2 months ago

From what I remember seeing on their site, it's solid wood, like sheesham or mango. They're pretty good about listing the exact wood type for each piece.

M Megan M. 2 months ago

Yeah, they mostly use solid woods. I got a coffee table from them a while back and it's definitely solid, no MDF filler or anything like that. Just double-check the product page for the specific bed you're looking at, sometimes different pieces use different types.

Does Wood Gully offer free shipping on big items like a wardrobe? Or do they charge extra for delivery?

T Troy 2 months ago

I think they do free shipping on furniture orders, at least that was the case when I bought my sofa last year. Worth checking their shipping info section though, policies can change.

D Derek 2 months ago

Yep, usually free shipping on furniture. I never paid extra for my bed delivery. It's a pretty sweet deal for bulky stuff.

Can I combine the first order discount with a Diwali sale coupon? Trying to save as much as possible on a new sofa.

S Shane Vargas 3 months ago

Nah, usually you can't stack coupons or combine them with sale prices. It's almost always one discount per order. So pick the better one!

G Greg 3 months ago

Most online stores don't let you do that. I tried to combine a new customer code with a clearance item once and it just didn't work at checkout. You'll probably have to choose between the first order offer or the Diwali sale percentage.
